PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Build your private label perfume range.

01

Develop the scent for your brand.

Preferred notes, reference fragrances and a description of your customer help establish the creative brief.

Define the fragrance brief

Share the scent character, notes to include or avoid, and target cost. We discuss fragrance selection or custom development to suit the range.

Compare and refine samples

Use sample codes to give feedback on specific changes, such as brighter top notes, less sweetness or a softer woody character.

Approve the final fragrance

Retain the chosen sample and specification as the reference for formulation, production and reorders.

02

Develop and evaluate the perfume liquid.

The fragrance concentrate is blended into a perfume formulation. Define the intended format and concentration, then assess the finished liquid before production approval.

Set the product specification

Discuss the perfume format, scent profile and fragrance concentration. Your retail positioning can guide these choices if they are still open.

Review the formulated sample

Evaluate scent and appearance in the intended packaging. Include compatibility, supporting documentation and market-specific requirements in the development plan.

Need concentrate or liquid only?

Choose ready-to-fill perfume liquid for your filling operation, or fragrance concentrate if your team develops the formulation.

Choose the bottle presentation

Compare shapes, finishes and cap styles. Review suitable existing components before considering custom packaging development.

Review the assembled sample

Evaluate spray function, pump and cap fit, leakage and liquid compatibility in the proposed assembly.

Using your own bottles?

Send the component specifications and samples so filling, assembly and packing requirements can be reviewed.

Develop bottle decoration and cartons together using your logo, colours and visual references. Plan how each fragrance fits within the range.

Labels, printing and finishes

Review decoration methods for the selected components. Approve the finish, colours, artwork dimensions and placement before production.

Distinguish each fragrance

Use scent names, colours and bottle sizes to identify products while keeping the core brand elements consistent.

Sign off the artwork

Approve the final artwork and product information for your sales market. Retain one production-ready file for each bottle and carton.

05

Finalise the pack and production order.

Plan the retail carton, protective packaging and shipping arrangement alongside the perfume. Review the included operations and commercial terms in the quotation.

Retail packaging and gift sets

Specify cartons, inserts and any gift-set arrangement, together with filling, labelling, assembly and packing requirements.

PRIVATE LABEL PERFUME FAQ

Planning your perfume manufacturing order.

Can I start without a finished fragrance or bottle design?

Yes. Start with your scent preferences, expected quantity and target cost. References for the bottle or presentation will help, and the remaining choices can be developed through sampling.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Minimum quantities depend on the fragrance, bottles, spray pumps, decoration and cartons. Send quantities per fragrance and for the total range so we can review component options and provide pricing.

Can you develop a fragrance from a reference?

Yes. References help communicate the scent direction. Tell us what you like and what you would change so we can discuss development and sampling for your own product.

Can I use my own bottles and artwork?

Yes, subject to review. Send specifications, samples and artwork so we can assess compatibility with the perfume liquid and the filling and packing requirements.

Can I buy the perfume liquid without the finished packaging?

Yes. We supply ready-to-fill perfume liquids in bulk for customers handling filling and packaging. Fragrance concentrates are also available for businesses developing their own formulations.
